By: OLUSOLA ALAO
Unknown Nigeria born Austria based Goalie, Edwin Joshua Ndubuisi has sent come get me message to eagles manager, Stephen Keshi.
The FC Morhen Dornbirn safest hands who has previously man post for SV Hall, AKA Tyrol and Bregenz all of Austria has declared his readiness to battle for a place in new look eagles and urge Big boss, Stephen Keshi to give him a cal and see what he can offer Nigeria National team.
Ndubuisi who has been outstanding for his team was voted best Goalkeeper in Austria league last term caught the eyes of the Country U-21 crew but turned it down to get Nigeria chance.
He said that is an indication that he is a quality keeper that can challenge those currently in eagles.
The Former Union Innsbruck safest hands said “I have been doing since I came to Austria, my exploit have been recognized in different ways, I was named best Goalkeeper in the league last season and I was contacted to join the country U-19 and U-21 at a point which I turned down because I know I am a Nigerian and that if I keep doing well for my club, I will get chance to play for Nigeria. I think it is the right time I get a chance in eagles, I am sure I will be appreciated if I am called to [play for eagles, the new Coach Stephen Keshi is rebuilding the team and I will be glad if I am given a chance, all I need is a call the rest will be history because I will be in to stay. I know Enyeama and others who are there are good but I can challenge them, I know what I am capable of doing as a Keeper.”
The 22 years old Nigeria goalie has been in Austria since 2004 and he is a household name in that country.
