Unknown Nigerian Adeyeri goal king in Seychelles

Unknown Nigerian striker Kazeem Adeyeri as emerged as the highest scorer in Seychelles top flight league for 2015 season. The youngster netted 15 goals for St.Loius to end up as the league top scorer. Obi leaves Watford on loan

Nigerian youngster Ogo Obi has been loaned out by EPL side Watford FC, the club website revealed. The Watford U18 team striker has joined the National League South team, Hemel Hempstead for one month. He had a trial at Manchester United last season.
He has been doing well with Watford U18 team this season.

I feel very happy and thankful for the opportunity given me to play. All the games are very important to me, I will continue to give my best to the club. You have played against Gerrard, Lampard and Keane, how do you feel facing these great players? It's a great honour for me to face these legends. They are great players that all young players are looking forward to and which to play against. I'm so happy for the opportunity. Anthony Ujah ends goal drought in style

Nigeria international Anthony Ujah returned to the business of scoring goals for his German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen on Saturday after he scored a brace in a 3-1 win over his former team Mainz. He opened the scoring in the 38th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead, before he doubled their lead in the 44th minute. He assisted for the third and fourth goals. Ujah who has not scored since his strike against Hoffenheim on 13th September, 2015, has now scored four goals for Bremen this season in the Bundesliga. He was replaced with Claudio Pizarro in the 82nd minute. His compatriot Leon Balogun played for Mainz in the game.

Uche Agbo, Success Isaac star in Granada win

Nigerian duo of Uche Agbo and Success Isaac featured for Spanish side, Granada CF on Wednesday as they beat Albacete 2-0 in a Pre-season game. The duo who have represented Nigeria at youth levels were 68th minute substitutes, Success entering for Piti and Agbo for Fran Rico. It was the last game of the pre season in Murcia, Spain.

Efe Ambrose's Celtic defeated determined Azerbaijan opponent, Qarabag 1-0 in the first leg UEFA Champions league qualification game in Glasgow on Wednesday. Imoh Ezekiel gets Roberto Carlos as Coach in Qatar

Ekong delighted with Eagles debut

Former Netherlands youth international, William Troost-Ekong has expressed his delight on his debut for the Super eagles of Nigeria. The 21 year old central defender partner Kenneth Omeruo in the heart of eagles defence as they beat Chad 2-0 in an AFCON 2017 qualifier in Kaduna on Saturday. "Thank God for my full international debut. Very happy with the 3 points for the team. The proudest moment of the career!" Ekong tweeted. He played on loan with FC Dordrecht from FC Groningen last season and he is a free agent now. The big defender played for Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur at youth level. H

The former University of New Hampshire soccer team goalkeeper was invited to the Nigeria U23 national team preparing for the Beijing Olympic qualifiers in 2007 and the final preparation camp for the Olympic games in Portugal by coach Samson Siasia. The American born Ogunbiyi helped Skive IK secured promotion to the first division in Denmark in 2014 before he joined Naestved in 2014/2015 season.
