Sparta Prague cough out €500,000 for Fatai
Czech Republic power house, Sparta Prague coughed out a whopping €500,000 to sign former Nigeria youth internationals, Kehinde Fatai from Astra Giurgiu, AfricanFootball.com can exclusively report.
The Jos born star was a big hit for Farul Constanta and Astra Giurgiu in Romania.
The Romania team turned down bigger offer for the striker from Nice last summer but with a year left on his contracts, they decided to cash in on him.
"I have joined Sparta Prague. I signed a three year deal with them,” he said.
“I am very happy to be here, it is a big club and I am looking forward to greater days with the club. I am thrilled with the prospect of playing in the UEFA Champions League."
Before Fatai, who has represented Nigeria at U20 and U23 levels signed a deal with Sparta Prague, a Turkish team is seriously interested in him and even opened line of communication with one of his representative.
